TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1: Friday, 19th July
‍Rome

On arrival into Rome, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to the beautiful 4 star Mercure Roma Centro Colosseo Hotel - the perfect base to explore Bella Roma, the “eternal city”. (Flights to arrive by 3pm)

This evening join your new travel buddies on the rooftop bar for a welcome drink before we set off on a walking tour of the “Eternal City” with Cristina, our wonderful local specialist. She’ll entertain you with stories of her city as we make our way from one bucket list destination to another, stopping along the way to sample the local foods and wines.

Our hotel is located on Rome’s “Gay Street” so we’ll drop into some of the bars on our passeggiata home.

DAY 2: Saturday, 20th July
‍Rome

The Ancient Greeks may have “invented” it but the Ancient Romans perfected it. After a relaxing morning please join us on our fun, ‘specifically curated’ tour: “Sex, Love and Scandal: an LGBT+ history of Ancient Rome”.

The rest of the day is yours free! Pick up some Italian fashion on Via Condotti or Via del Corso, make a booking to visit the Colosseum or Vatican, or perhaps just have a long, leisurely late lunch in one of Rome’s beautiful main piazzas.

Later tonight, once the sun has set and the lights of Rome have come on, we invite you to be our guests at our Roman Welcome Dinner. You’ll be seated on an outdoor upper terrace, looking directly over the breathtaking Colosseum – it’s one of the best views in the city. Three courses of fabulous Roman cuisine washed down with some of their amazing wines.

Later tonight, we’ll go explore the “Gay Village”– Rome’s annual, outdoor LGBT festival which is full of bars, music and dancing.
